You had to guess Samsung wasn’t going to go too far into 2011 without a dual core announcement of their own: they’ve confirmed that they will be showing those particular wares off at Mobile World Congress going down in Barcelona, Spain February 14th-17th.
Samsung is going through a major shift from 3G to 4G and from feature phones to smartphones, Shin said. While Samsung expects to make roughly the same number of phone models in 2011 as the company did last year, the balance will turn towards smartphones, Samsung's executive vice president and head of marketing DJ Lee said. Overall, Samsung expects to sell at least 10% more phones in 2011 than they did this year.

The Samsung Focus Windows Phone 7 smartphone: Hands On
All the new Windows Phone 7's work similarly, as they're all based on Qualcomm's 1-GHz QSD8250 chipset with very similar hardware stats, including HSDPA 7.2, Wi-Fi, and a 5-megapixel camera. The Focus has 8GB of memory built in, but an AT&T spokesman at the launch said a MicroSD card up to 32GB could be added, provided you factory reset the phone when you do. If that's true, the Focus can expand up to 40GB.
Like the Captivate, the Focus is equipped with Samsung's latest and greatest in display technology: a 4-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a WVGA resolution. Other specifications include a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 8GB NAND Flash for storage of applications and more, microSD memory card slot, 5-megapixel camera with CMOS flash, Wi-Fi Wireless-N connectivity and dynamic noise suppression from Audience.

Verizon will announce Samsung Galaxy Tab on Thursday
The Thursday announcement rumor comes from a leaked image of the in-house web site for Verizon employees. The image has a date of Semptember 14 and it says “On Thursday, we’ll announce the upcoming launch of The Samsung Galaxy Tab.” If authentic, that doesn’t necessarily mean it is coming Thursday, just being announced Thursday. We still don’t know the price of the Galaxy Tab on Verizon, when it may launch or if it will require a contract for purchase.
The Samsung P1000 Galaxy Tab Smart Media Device is listed with a 1GHz processor, 7-inch LCD screen, Bluetooth 3.0 and Android 2.2, although no UK release date.
Given that these are all specs found in the average mobile phone (the 7-inch screen aside) it's truly hard to see where the cost hikes are coming for the new Samsung Galaxy Tab.
